As a recent graduate with no experience in the market, I was feeling anxious about my upcoming steps that were to set a starting point in a potential career.

After hearing about the internship opening and getting several suggestions regarding the position, I decided to apply even though I was feeling reluctant as the area of my studies did not completely match with the job.

Additionally, I did not have much knowledge of Digital Journalism, which made me think that I might face many obstacles during the three-month journey. Little did I know that at NextSEO, I would find a friendly environment and an incredibly supportive staff that would push me to improve constantly and help me through every step.

Thanks to all the constructive feedback and help that I got, now I can gradually contribute to the company’s mission and work with dedication.

Looking back, I would not change anything about this experience as it turned out to be one of the most beneficial and enlightening. I am glad that I stepped out of my comfort zone, took the chance, and created my own opportunity.

As someone who never really had a “dream job”, the internship at NextSEO made me realise that for me, it is not about doing what I think I love but loving what I do.
